Emma Woodside mission trip.
Emma Woodside served with Teen Missions International this past summer from June 27 – August 4, 2013. Teen Missions is an interdenominational organization that provides mission kids camp
for children 4-9 and short term mission trips for pre-teens, teens and
adults. The first team went out in 1971. They have established missions in 110 countries and over 47,000 North American young people have assisted with a variety of evangelistic and work projects. The summer consists of three phases : Boot camp, project phase and debrief.

Emma was on the United States team this year. Boot camp consisted of an obstacle course, devotions, morning and evening rally’s and classes such as puppets, block laying , woodshop, music, painting, digging and concrete. After boot camp they drove 3 days by bus to Flagstaff, Arizona. There they stayed and worked at EL Nathan Ministries.
The team shared the gospel by use of presentations incorporating puppets, drama and songs. They worked 4 hours each morning raking, digging out and moving rocks, moving mulch in wheel barrels, spreading mulch, leveling the ground, painting, cleaning the bathrooms,
moving furniture from cabin to cabin, moving logs and benches, as well as picking up trash. The leaders also lead them in many team building activites. They memorized 19 Bible verses over the summer. The team was able to go to the Grand Canyon and experience God’s power and
